Prudence enjoyed this a little more than I was comfortable with:
Paraphrased from Mari our intern minister’s debut sermon: “Faith is trust that the power of love will make the world a better place, and God is a personification of that power.” I like this. A whole lot. Defined positively, forward-looking, self-aware, functional. I could say more, but it would be pages long.
